How you will make an impact: 
As a Resident Assistant at Northfield Retirement Community, you will have the ability to connect with older adults one-on-one embracing a person-centered approach, treating every individual with unwavering dignity. You will provide hands-on personal care to older adults including assisting them tasks of daily living such as getting dressed, showering, using the bathroom, and eating; as well as more healthcare related tasks like checking vital signs and medication administration. Schedule varies: The hours for this position are 10pm - 6:30am and schedules include working alternating weekends and some holidays. 

What you will need: 

  • Prior nursing or medical experience is required
  • Must be 16 years or older to apply
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 35lbs
  • Must be able to pass MN Background Check
