Job Description
The Lifestyle Concierge greets all visitors and residents as they enter and exit the building. The Lifestyle Concierge serves as the first point of interaction and therefore makes the first impression of 414 Light Street. Each interaction must be treated as a critical opportunity to build rapport and exceed the expectations of the customer.
The Lifestyle Concierge must maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance, as well as, organized, clean and safe work environment, including any office or storage areas assigned. This includes complying with the dress code. The Lifestyle Concierge will coordinate multiple functions to most effectively and efficiently accomplish established objectives. The Lifestyle Concierge is expected to meet and exceed the needs of all prospects, applicants and others. The Lifestyle Concierge will continually seek out areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Greet prospects, guests and residents when entering or exiting the building.
- Answer in-person, phone call and email requests for maintenance or services offered under the Lifestyle programs, taking the appropriate action to resolve the request.
- Utilize the screens to monitor the camera coverage of the various entry and egress points of the building.
- Secure packages and dry cleaning for residents’ later pick up and retrieve items for residents upon request.
- Develop rapport and relationships with residents and become familiar with preferences.
- Notify appropriate parties when vendors are on property to perform work.
- Escort prospects to the waiting area or leasing office when they enter the building from Light Street.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a concierge or similar hospitality-oriented industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must interact effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.
- Must work well under pressure, exercise good judgment when making decisions and handle stressful situations in a mature, professional manner.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years’ of concierge or equivalent work experience in a property management or hospitality organization and a high school diploma are required. A four-year Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field from an accredited university is preferred. Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Strong interpersonal, time management and customer service skills required. Computer skills including: internet, e-mail, (MS Outlook) MS Excel, and MS Word.
