Responsible for the safe manufacturing of metal E Rings, utilizing standard measuring devices and gauges, and safely operating all manufacturing equipment involved in the process.
Responsibilities- Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures.
- Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to manufacture completed parts.
- Read and interpret work instructions.
- Communicate with others on work order status and completion of work.
- Perform assembly and inspection.
- Experience as a Machine Operator, Assembler, and in inspection and manufacturing (1 year).
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Assembly experience.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to read.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use a computer.

Work EnvironmentE Ring Associates work with other E Ring Associates, Manufacturing Leads, and Manufacturing Support. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. The typical mental and physical demands include standing and walking frequently, using hands to operate machines, measuring devices, and computers, and having close vision. Regular attendance, the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others, and the ability to follow written and verbal directions are expected. The work schedule includes three shifts: 1st shift (7AM-3:30PM, M-F with potential for OT), 2nd shift (3PM-12AM M-Th and 3PM-7PM Friday), and 3rd shift (11PM-7AM Sun-Thurs).
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, Connecticut.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
