Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. This role supports the production department by including fixture design, manufacturing process specifications, programming, and equipment specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
I. Design, Development, Implementation, and Analysis of Technical Processes and Systems
- Design and procure fixtures.
- Improve and document existing processes.
- Diagnose manufacturing problems.
II. Process Improvement
- Recommends process changes for improved quality and efficiency.
- Strives for maximum efficiency, both with people and space.
III. Production and Maintenance Support
- Set up machines.
- Check parts in production.
- Work with outside vendors.
- Support Sales and Product managers by assisting with sales calls and customer visits.
IV. Company Goals Support
- Maintain professional standards of conduct when working with superiors, colleagues, and production personnel.
- Responsible for the care of manufacturing equipment, physical grounds, and departmental office equipment.
- Ensure the quality of products to meet company goals and prevent defects that could lead to damage, loss, or fines.
- Manage business contacts with individuals inside or outside the Company requiring resourcefulness, tact, and knowledge of policies, business practices, and procedures.
- Handle confidential information regarding manufacturing know-how, patents, etc., per company policy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
- Minimum two years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred experience in metal tube fabrication and welded assemblies.
- Sound knowledge of engineering theory and manufacturing techniques.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
