Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing processes, improving product quality, and increasing operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs and industry standards. Responsibilities include managing equipment, tooling, and fixtures for manufacturing the diverse products at the Kistler Instrument Corp. (KIC) Production Facility. You will develop and troubleshoot manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and shorten lead times, as well as propose new equipment, procedures, and methods to automate and scale up production. **Key Responsibilities:**- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to improve productivity and product quality.- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and reliability of new products.- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.- Support the introduction of new technologies and processes to enhance manufacturing capabilities.- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and new procedures.- Work closely with quality assurance to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

-Design, document, procure, qualify, implement, and improve fixtures, tools and equipment.

Responsible for change management and implementation for changes to manufacturing processes.

**Qualifications:**- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, or related field.- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.- Proficiency in CAD software, ERP, MRP, SAP preferred

Familiarity with quality management systems AS9100, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 9001 a plus

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience with LabVIEW or TestStand a plus

Ability to interpret and create (Solidworks preferred) complex technical drawings, schematics, and specifications

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
