We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Fort Lauderdale, FL surrounding area.

Pay: $70,000-73,000

Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production.
  • Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.
  • Build prototypes, evaluate performance, identify issues, and make improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insights and direction.
  • Estimates production times and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Confers with engineering, and other departments regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.


Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Hands-on experience building small prototypes.
  • Ability to collaborate with program managers, manufacturing leads, customers, and functional leads.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AutoCAD a plus.
