Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and serve as the site leader at our South El Monte facility. This role is critical in driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing within the aerospace sector and demonstrate exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Manage the schedule to ensure timely and efficient workflow to meet customer demands
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety training to minimize workplace incidents.
• Performance Monitoring:
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance.
  • Analyze production data and implement strategies for improvement as needed.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engage with senior leadership to align manufacturing strategies with company objectives.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of related experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to perform basic operation and navigation functions on a computer. Familiarity with the following software is preferred: File Maker Pro, Office 365, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and regulations. Machinist skills would be very beneficial.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
