Job Description
Assembler:
Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Support the production and assembly of various components. Perform as an active member of the team. Beyond installation activities you will be responsible for safety, training, parts inventory, lean/5S practices, and interaction with all levels of team members. Responsibilities:
• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Assembler Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Tooling,
• Safety Management, Quality Focus, Power Tools, Judgment, Decision Making.
•Must perform work proficiently and be detail oriented.
•Understand and uphold Quality Assurance standards.
•Must be flexible to work any work cell.
•Must possess strong computer skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined and skilled with hand, air and power tools.
• Perform as a team member which requires the ability to learn, perform and rotate to other workstations.
• Must be able to follow instructions (both verbal & written), fluent in print reading with limited information, work individually and in a team setting. Knowledge of 3D software and ability to view models.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
• Troubleshoot and Repair assigned work.
• Must be proficient in work areas to meet daily production goals.
• Update work order information.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Perform as a team member which requires the ability to learn, perform and rotate to other workstations.
• Perform within acceptable quality, quantity, performance and safety standards.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Compensation is Based on Experience.
