Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Composites Plastic Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and improvements in thermoforming for a supplier in the rail, construction, and heavy truck industries.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar engineering field
Minimum of 5 years direct manufacturing experience
Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen or other Lean tools
Preferred Skills:
Solidworks and AutoCad experience
Injection Molding experience
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and document process, tooling, and new product development for thermoformed products
Optimize productivity, reduce cycle time, improve quality, reduce scrap, and reduce operating costs through continual process improvement
Initiate and assist with capital improvement projects through new equipment purchase or facility modification
Develop and monitor training plans to ensure personnel are versed in new process requirements
Pay: 80000-100000

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
