Are you ready to drive innovation and lead critical manufacturing projects? As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME), you will play a pivotal role in transforming ideas into reality, spearheading capital equipment and manufacturing process initiatives that support new product introductions (NPI), cost optimization, and plant improvements. This role serves as a vital link between program development and plant operations, ensuring seamless alignment with operational priorities and goals.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Lead Capital Equipment Projects:
    Manage procurement, supplier selection, factory layout development, and installation. Ensure equipment is reliable, robust, and optimized for maximum effectiveness (OEE).
  • Drive Key Program Metrics:
    Oversee manufacturing labor plans, equipment budgets, and product quality. Collaborate on trade-offs and make decisions that maximize business impact.
  • Develop Cutting-Edge Manufacturing Processes:
    Design efficient workflows and systems, including workstation layouts, material presentation, and single-piece flow, with input from cross-functional teams.
  • Champion Safety and Quality:
    Partner with EHS and engineering teams to ensure health and safety are top priorities while maintaining high production standards.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
    Work closely with Lean, factory operations, and design teams to optimize processes and ensure smooth integration across the value stream.


What You'll Bring to Our Team

Required Qualifications:
  • A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing equipment and process management.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work across teams at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present updates to diverse audiences.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Lean process improvements in manufacturing.
  • Prior involvement in NPI programs.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Office, MS Scheduler, and AutoCAD.
