Manufacturing Team leader

Hours:  Currently 6am - 6pm Monday - Friday, with plans to rotate with a 6pm-6am night shift at a later date, potential to go to a 24/7 production schedule

Pay $22-25/hour depending on experience

Job Overview

Overseeing a team of Manufacturing Operatives, ensuring that they are motivated and performing as expected. Giving training and support where needed.

Duties Include:-

• Ensuring Adherence to H&S, Production and Quality Targets
• Taking the lead ensuring products are made to the correct quality and specification.
• Identifying problems as they arise, solve or escalate as necessary
• Deputize for the Production Manager and assist in operational shift management
• Perform procedural observations of operatives and feed back to the Production Manager
• Reinforce all personnel know the companies top priorities.

Skills and experience needed

• 2+ years' experience of working in production, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Good practical experience with MS Office
• Strong organizational and leadership skills٫ together with a results-driven approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
