The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in applying engineering theory and principles to address industrial layout and manufacturing production challenges. This position involves creating engineering drawings and interpreting blueprints to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiency Analysis: Study time, motion, methods, and speed in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve overall efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Work Assignment Oversight: Review and approve work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and potential delays.
- Workflow Visualization: Analyze charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
- Data Evaluation: Evaluate data and reports to identify deviations from established standards and recommend corrective actions.
- Standard Modification: Propose modifications to existing quality or production standards to optimize quality within equipment capabilities.
- Process Improvement: Recommend changes to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout, or other areas to increase production efficiency and improve standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience is required.
