Our motors are designed to meet MIL-M-17059 and MIL-DTL-17060 specifications, ensuring durability and performance in combat, shock, and saltwater environments. Position Summary
Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer and work closely with our engineering and operations teams to enhance and streamline our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for developing process instructions, supporting CNC programming, and working with advanced machinery including 5-axis mills, horizontal and vertical lathes, and cylindrical grinding machines.

You will be responsible for developing process instructions, supporting CNC programming, and working with advanced machinery including 5-axis mills, horizontal and vertical lathes, and cylindrical grinding machines.
Essential Functions:
- Set up Manufacturing Processes:
- Create Work Instructions
- Use SolidWorks to create Operation level Prints
- Create fail safe inspection processes
- Design fixtures for new/existing parts
- New part process planning
- Update setup documentation
- Programming, set up and operate CNC 5ax Mill-turn, Horiz. and Vert. Turning, and Grinding:
- Review of specifications, verify procedures and accuracy
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings with ASME Y14.5 GD&T
- Maximizing machine uptime, efficiency, and quality to exceed goal of 90% OEE
- Develop and maintain tool data sheets
- CNC programming on Fanuc, OSP and Siemens controls
- Verify CNC program using Vericut
- Maintaining of equipment including:
- Reporting of necessary repairs
- Trouble shooting
- Tooling and Fixtures
Education / Skills:
- Must be U.S. Citizen due to our government contracts
- High School Degree
- Experience with inspection and metrology tools including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators
- Experience Programming of 5 Axis Machining Centers, Horizontal and Vertical Lathes, and Cylindrical Grinding using CAM software - Mastercam experience preferred
- Expert user of CAD and 3D Modeling software - SolidWorks experience required
- Bachelor's in engineering is preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008
- Lean Experience
- 5-axis milling, turning and grinding experience preferred
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- This job requires long periods of sitting. Since overhead cranes are available in all work areas, Technicians are not required to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Keeps work area clean and free of scrap materials.
- Wears and complies with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) applicable to work area, including but not limited to eye protection and safety shoes.
- Follows all safety rules applicable to machines as stated on posted signs and in Company policy.
