Job Description:

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Manager, Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for the management, development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality.

Duties include, but are not limited to:?

  • Manage a team of manufacturing engineers, technicians and administrative staff.
  • Organize project and task workloads and select individuals who are most qualified for assignment on specific projects.
  • Direct the technical organization to ensure progress according to technical objectives, within budgetary and schedule guidelines.
  • Reviews product design for manufacturability and work to improve quality and ease of assembly support functions.
  • Direct Manufacturing Engineering efforts to reduce costs of assembly and plant operations.
  • Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively.

Qualifications:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Top candidates will also have:

  • Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Expert knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing theory and design.
