Job Description
The Manufacturing Shop Lead is responsible for guiding and overseeing daily operations on the shop floor. This role focuses on coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of operators to achieve performance goals.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of manufacturing operators, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Production Oversight: Coordinate daily production activities, ensuring schedules are met and resources are effectively utilized.
- Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications; address any quality issues promptly.
- Training and Development: Train new employees on equipment operation, safety protocols, and production procedures; foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce workplace safety standards; conduct regular safety checks and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve production-related issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Manufacturing Shop Manager and other departments to optimize production workflows and address operational challenges.
- Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on production progress and team performance.
Shift
Second shift- Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m.- 1:30 a.m.
Requirements:Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum [X years] of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least [X years] in a leadership or supervisory role.

Work Environment
