Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Position Summary: Supports daily operations (Headcount, production, efficiency) of the plant, identifies cost reduction opportunities, and anticipates program needs from start of program to launch.
Responsibilities:
•Support operations and monitor production status, machine and equipment workload to ensure compliance with internal QCD objectives and customer requirements
•Apply lean manufacturing systems to support plant operations deploy shop-floor methodology and manufacturing tools, and develop special equipment requirements for cell integration, error-proofing, data collection and process improvement
•Oversee and direct process control development for complex and dynamic industrial production systems
•Develop and establish reporting and diagnostic system for root cause and downtime analysis to ensure the maintenance and improvement of machine processes and controls
•Hands-on development, implementation and management of advanced manufacturing excellence methodologies
•Prepare and propose process innovations for interior systems and components
•Oversee new equipment buy-off and assembly line commissioning
•Ensure plant readiness for the transfer of assembly lines
•Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to:

Your profile and competencies to succeed
Knowledge / Skills:
•Manufacturing tools to optimize production systems such as Hoshin, Kaizen, SMED, 5S...
•Scheduling long and short-term manufacturing activities for program feasibility to meet customer requirements
•Defining manufacturing budget, taking into consideration cost reduction and supplier sourcing.
•Drafting, presenting and defending investment requests
•Identifying opportunities, defining and proposing improvements (material yield optimization, scrap reduction, insourcing, supply chain, volume optimization, process improvement, cycle time and weight reduction) for cost reductions
•Managing the launch of manufacturing programs
•Troubleshooting quality issues
•Knowledge of plastics recycling, plastics compounding, and compound formulation is required
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office required, SAP recommended
Knowledge and experience with processes and products related to our business. Education / Experience:
•Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering
•3-5 years' experience in manufacturing Engineering position
•Hands on experience a must.
•Management experience a must
•OEM experience is desired
