Job Duties
- Develop and implement methods for manufacturing and product fabrication, ensuring design producibility and effective process control.
- Support the design-development cycle, overseeing the transition from design to production, including post-production support.
- Design, build, and implement fixtures, tools, and inspection gages to optimize manufacturing processes and assembly.
- Monitor and validate fabrication and production processes to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Work alongside the product team to maintain bill of materials (BOM), track work instructions, and ensure all manufacturing instructions are up to date.
- Play a key role in material and resource planning, ensuring product schedules are met efficiently.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions using inspection tools and technical reference materials.
- Lead or support prototype builds, testing materials, and evaluating new processes to ensure optimal production methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally within an aerospace fabrication or assembly shop environment.
- Hands-on engineering experience with mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with basic material properties and in-process verification techniques.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with propulsion systems, especially in the aerospace or defense sectors.
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling, and experience working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining bill of materials and work instructions.
Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation Details
$95,000 - $145,000
