  • Compensation: $32 /hr
  • Worksite Location: NCAT Campus

Overview / Job Summary:

The Adjunct Faculty Instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities for WSU Tech.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:

  • Primary responsibilities will be teaching day or evening Aviation Manufacturing courses that include; Safety, blueprint reading, precision measuring, sheet metal assembly, and other courses as required.
  • Follows the appropriate course syllabus for each course as noted in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Keeps students informed and updated regarding course content, requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance expectations.
  • Develops, revises, and/or recommends curriculum changes that meet the objectives of the course/program and enhance student learning.
  • Maintains accurate and complete scholastic records including course messaging in the LMS, grades, census rosters and attendance records
  • Ensures that each program/class meets the WSU Tech Course Standards, includes all necessary curricular components, utilizes effective teaching methods/practices (pedagogy), and reflects current industry practices.
  • The successful candidate will have an extensive background in a wide array of manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Needed:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or higher-level degree preferred
  • Basic mastery of applicable technical certification preferred
  • Two years of instructional teaching or training experience preferred
  • Maintains mandatory licensure/certification for assigned class/program
