Job Title: Package Handler

Job Location: Alexandria, VA.

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and efficient Package Handler to join our logistics team. The Package Handler will be responsible for sorting, scanning, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of packages. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Unload and load packages from delivery vehicles.

· Sort and organize packages based on delivery routes or destinations.

· Scan packages using a barcode scanner for accurate tracking.

· Ensure packages are handled carefully to avoid damage.

· Verify package contents and ensure correct labeling.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

· Operate equipment, such as pallet jacks or conveyors, as needed.

· Adhere to safety standards and company policies.

· Assist with inventory and stock management when required.

· Work as part of a team to meet package delivery deadlines.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in warehouse or package handling preferred but not required.

· Ability to lift heavy packages (up to [X] lbs) and stand for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and organization skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
