Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking a dependable mid-level Materials Handler to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. They will be responsible for overseeing materials and inventory needs, while maintaining standards for safety & quality. This role will operate on a 4 day, 10 hour work week of 6:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Offload, receive, and organize incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate records of material storage and inventory levels.
- Issue materials to various departments as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including woodshop and metal shop, to ensure efficient material flow.
- Operate forklifts to transport materials safely.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
- Assist in keeping the workspace organized and compliant with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material needs and updates.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a related role such as inventory specialist, materials handler, or logistics coordinator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs through the duration of 10 hr shift.
