Job Description
A client of ours in Commercial Roofing is looking to hire a Service Coordinator. This is a direct hire position in Garland TX, fully on-site 40 hours/week.
Our client is preferably looking for someone with prior roofing or construction industry experience.
Here is an overview of job responsibilities for our service coordinator position:
- Take inbound calls and emails for service/repair requests. Ask qualifying questions and create a service ticket for service and repair team.
- Work with service manager to schedule repairs and keep customer informed about response time.
- Issue purchase orders to service team for materials needed to complete repairs.
- Create weekly time sheets for service crew of 6-8 members.
- Take service reports created by service manager to create a detailed invoice. Forward invoice and report to customer.
- Follow up with service customers for any delinquent AR.
- Maintain/grow relationships with property managers and owners.
- Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
This job requires friendly and professional verbal and written communication skills. Construction industry experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills/time management skills are critical as there is quite a bit of autonomy with this position.
