We’re seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented nurse to join our dynamic triage team, where you’ll play a key role as the first line of support for patients. In this role, you’ll have a blend of patient interaction, coordination with providers, and vital behind-the-scenes work, like prior authorizations, refills, and referrals. If you have prior authorization experience, that's a huge plus!

Job Summary
As an essential part of our triage team, you’ll manage patient coordination and support over phone and computer, making this an ideal role for a skilled communicator who is comfortable in a primarily desk-based position. Your compassion, efficiency, and organizational skills will be invaluable as you handle patient inquiries, process prior authorizations, manage referrals, and connect providers. There’s also an exciting cross-training opportunity to work in our shot room, administering immunizations, allergy shots, biologic injections, and even learning to mix vials!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Coordination – Partner with healthcare providers to assess, plan, and implement patient-centered tasks.
- Patient Support – Be the warm, supportive voice on the line, answering questions and addressing concerns compassionately.
- Physician Communication – Manage physician calls and connect them seamlessly for coordinated care.
- Patient Refills, Authorizations, and Referrals – Handle patient requests quickly and accurately to support their ongoing care.
- Cross-Training Opportunity – Gain valuable experience in our shot room, where you’ll administer injections and mix vials.
Qualifications:
- Licensed LPN or RN – Must hold a valid state license.
- Nursing Experience – Prior experience preferred, especially in patient-centered environments.
- Interpersonal Skills – Compassionate communication skills are essential.
- Valid Driver’s License and First Aid/CPR Certification – Required for this role.
