A little about usSaint Joseph Living Center (SJLC) was established in 1988 and is situated on 9 scenic acres in Windham, CT. Sponsored by the Diocese of Norwich, our facility offers short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and end-of-life care. We are a Catholic faith-based community, but we welcome residents of all religious backgrounds. Our suburban setting provides privacy, relaxation, and accessibility, with ample parking. The center features both indoor and outdoor amenities, including a beautiful chapel with daily mass at 11:00 am, an enclosed courtyard with gardens, and a Koi pond

Are you the RN Infection Control Preventionist we're looking for?To excel as an RN Infection Control Preventionist at St. Joseph Living Center in Windham, you must possess a CT RN License, with an Infection Control Preventionist (ICP) Certification preferred. A solid understanding of all infection control regulations, guidelines, and best practices is essential for success in this role. Proficiency in utilizing relevant software and tools to track and analyze infection data is required to effectively monitor and prevent infections within the facility.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working closely with the healthcare team and educating staff on proper infection control protocols. Attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to stay current on industry developments are key attributes that will ensure you thrive in this important position at St. Joes.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- CT RN License is Required
- ICP Certification Preferred
