The RN - Cardiac Telemetry plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by providing specialized nursing care for patients with cardiovascular conditions in a telemetry unit. This position is essential for monitoring patients' heart rates, rhythms, and vital signs using telemetry equipment, allowing for prompt intervention in critical situations. The RN will also engage in patient education, cultural sensitivity, and emotional support, ensuring that patients and their families understand their conditions and treatment plans. The cardiac telemetry unit is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care. Additionally, given the emphasis on serving diverse populations, candidates who are fluent in Spanish and possess an understanding of Hispanic cultural factors will be especially valuable. This role not only requires strong clinical skills but also compassion and cultural competence to effectively support a wide range of patients.
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously.
- Assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous therapies.
- Provide patient education regarding cardiac health and post-procedure care.

Required Qualifications
