Job Title: Welder Leaderman

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Leaderman to oversee and coordinate welding tasks in a fast-paced marine environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural welding, with a focus on quality, productivity, safety, and environmental standards. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and planning skills to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise welding and assembly/prefab structural tasks.
Plan and schedule craft-specific work assignments to meet production goals.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and collaborate with other departments.
Utilize expertise in welding-specific processes and techniques, as well as standard marine practices and construction specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of assembly/prefab structural welding experience.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, marine construction standards, and specifications.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints.
Proven ability to lead a team, with prior supervisory experience being a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Focused on maintaining high-quality standards, safety compliance, and environmental consciousness.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in structural fabrication within the marine industry.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a history of successful team management.
