Qualifications: Technical college certificate or higher education, with 5 years or greater of successful related experience in the field of Welding. Experience in education preferred. Proficiency in the use of and communication of welding skills as they relate to curriculum and delivery of course content.

Substitute instructors support student learning by helping students understand fundamental principles of welding.
As a substitute, hours would be on an as needed basis. We are open from 8:00am to 8:00pm on most weekdays. A potential candidate would not necessarily need to be available all of the times we are open.

- Assist students with curriculum questions and needs
- Communicate effectively with students and staff and maintain discipline in all school settings
- Maintain accountability of students in classrooms and office areas
- Adapt equipment and materials to specific learning objectives set by faculty
- Assume responsibility for the orderliness of the learning environment
- Ensure the safe use of instructional facilities and equipment
- Perform simple clerical tasks proficiently
