Job Description
Welding Engineer
Must have a great understand of Metal Stamping and Robotic Welding processes in a high production manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities & Duties • Provide technical guidance and perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, monitoring the execution of tasks and phases of the process assigned to it. • Guide employees on technical and safety standards to be followed on work fronts, ensuring the quality of maintenance.
• Plan and provide technical support in the production and operational process, scheduling mechanical and electrical maintenance at stops or preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Plan and guide subordinates regarding the execution of activities, considering the production needs and specialties of each one, aiming at a higher performance in the execution of the service.
• Request machinery, equipment, materials and labor necessary for the development of activities.
• Prepare reports and indicators for the sectors under your responsibility, monitoring and analyzing results, in order to ensure compliance with procedures, goals, and necessary corrective actions.
• Participate in the preparation and follow the budget plan of the area, keeping expenses according to the dimensioned values, monitoring results and looking for efficiency alternatives.
• Seek and apply improvements in the processes, products or services under its responsibility, aiming to guarantee effective results and safeguarding the safety of the Company's assets.
• Ensure the development and application of new projects and processes, to ensure their proper implementation.
• Know and comply with the Quality Systems in Environmental Management (EMS), Health and Safety and the internal rules of the Company.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, as well as the Company's institutional rules and policies, with suppliers and external bodies, ensuring due ethical behavior in the relationship with business partners, as well as compliance with established standards, and ensuring the Company's assets.
· Knowledge, Skills (Essential) General - High level of leadership, teamwork and management skills; - IT Knowledge in terms of Word, Excel, Internet e Electronic Mail.
· Specific - Knowledge in Maintenance Techniques; - Knowledge in Preventive, Corrective and Predictive Maintenance.
· Specific - Knowledge in Lean Tools (5S, TPM – Total Productive Maintenance) tools; - BU ERP
· Education & Qualification - University degree in mechanical engineering or similar; Technical qualification in maintenance is a plus.
· Experience & Others • 3 + yrs. of manufacturing related experience with hands on operational knowledge; • Experience as Maintenance Coordinator is a plus; • Experience working in an organization that has a well-implemented “Safety Culture” is a plus.
