Job Description

Summary

Responsible for accurate cash transactions and processing of credit applications and adhering to Title 31 guidelines.   

Job Duties

  • Exchange chips and slot tickets for cash. 
  • Perform counter check transactions for slot patrons.
  • Responsible for chips/cash in assigned window. Maintain a neat and well-stocked window (Cash-Chips-Supplies) for next shift.
  • Responsible for distributing and receiving outlet house banks. 
  • Responsible for processing transactions accurately and maintaining accurate reconciliations.
  • Cage Cashier I will not be assigned to work a bank.
  • Cage Cashier I will assist the Credit Executive or above by processing credit applications, performing required verification and reporting critical information on any credit reports.
  • The credit functions will only be performed in a designated credit office.
  • Redeem Sports Book Tickets when the Sports Book is closed. Issue, receive and transport funds to/from the Sports Book room.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
  • Responsible for logging and tracking transactions using Title 31 software in accordance with Title 31 regulations. 
  • Maintains professional demeanor and promotes superior guest service at all times.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in high volume cash operations.
  • Must be able to communicate well with the public.
  • Must be able to work with and Understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
