Position: Service Department Cashier
Location: Glendale, AZ

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused? Sands Chevrolet in Glendale is hiring a Service Department Cashier to join our team! We’ve been proudly serving our community for over 90 years, and we’re looking for someone to help us continue providing top-notch service to our valued customers.

Reconcile Payments and Maintain Records

• Match payments to repair orders and log details in Excel.
• Verify totals and ensure all charge payments are authorized.
• Submit payments to fleet companies, extended warranty providers, and insurance carriers using online portals, fax, email, and phone.
• Balance a cash drawer daily and ensure all credit card receipts match corresponding repair orders.

Organize and File Documents

• Staple and file service paperwork in the correct order.

Manage the Loaner Car Fleet

• Take full responsibility for managing a fleet of 25-30 vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are retired and replaced according to mileage and time limits.
• Conduct a detailed walk around of every loaner vehicle with customers before they leave, documenting all existing damages.
• Review all disclaimers and inform customers of potential charges for fuel, damages, smoking, and pet hair.
• Use OnTrack loaner car software to create and print loaner car agreements.

Provide Excellent Customer Support

• Keep the coffee station stocked and the waiting area welcoming throughout the day.
• Interact with customers regarding the status of their vehicle being repaired.
• Work directly with service advisors and the management staff to expedite administrative tasks 

No Automotive Experience Necessary!
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills required.
Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work some Saturdays evenings, with shifts ending as late as 6:30 PM.
