We are adding Seasonal Tax Specialists to our team in Missouri, Kansas, and Montana. An accounting or business degree is not required.

This role will begin January 27, 2025 and conclude April 11, 2025.

The Seasonal Tax Specialist should expect to:

• Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040) for accuracy, content, and required data
• Communicate regularly with tax preparers to identify and solve problems
• Complete other basic accounting or miscellaneous related tasks
• Uphold strict confidentiality protocols regarding all client information

What you'll need for this position:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work in a deadline driven environment
• Critical thinking and the ability to modify procedures or resources to fit the needs of the task or situation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn multiple software programs

Bonus:

• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-26/hour.
