Job Description
A private equity-backed industrial services franchisor is seeking an IT Supervisor to join their growing corporate team. This organization supports nearly 200 franchisees nationwide and is in an exciting growth phase, with plans to expand significantly in the coming years. The ideal candidate will serve as a key leader within the IT department, working directly with the IT Manager to oversee daily operations and strategic initiatives.
The Role You'll Play
As the IT Supervisor, you will serve as a bridge between the IT Manager, the rest of the IT team, and the end-users in corporate and franchisees, as needed. Most of your day will involve managing day-to-day IT operations, including handling escalations from franchisees and overseeing Azure cloud infrastructure.
Support and maintain highly customized ERP system (Infor Syteline) resolving process questions and connectivity issues for franchisees and corporate users.
Manage and support integration between ERP, warehouse management system (HighJump Advantage), and mobile field service application, troubleshooting as a technical point of escalation
Collaborate with the operations and accounting teams to troubleshoot transactions within the ERP system
Support Office 365 environment, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Defender suite
Assist with migration of Azure cloud infrastructure management from the international team
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
Handle escalations from franchise owners and provide technical guidance
Participate in monthly new franchisee training sessions
Background Profile:
5+ years of corporate IT support experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar lead role. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Strong Windows system administration background with Azure cloud infrastructure experience
Proven experience with ERP systems and ability to learn complex, customized implementations
Industry domain experience in distribution, supply chain, logistics or manufacturing
Basic accounting/bookkeeping understanding for troubleshooting financial processes
Excellent customer service orientation for supporting franchise network
Experience with Office 365 administration, including SharePoint and security tools
Solid understanding of terminal server/RDP environments
Experience troubleshooting SSL certificates and network connectivity issues
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, interconnected IT systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS
Network deployment and topology expertise
Previous experience with Infor Syteline ERP
IT MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience
Experience with single sign-on implementations (Okta or similar)
Understanding of warehouse management systems
