Job Description:
The Clinic Director at SportsCare Physical Therapy is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing the clinical and administrative staff. The Clinic Director plays a crucial role in the growth and success of the clinic and must ensure that it operates efficiently and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Management:
• Provide direct patient care, including evaluations and treatments, as needed.
• Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and provide quality care.
• Collaborate with clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Stay current with industry trends and evidence-based practices.
Administrative Duties:
• Oversee scheduling and appointment management to optimize clinic efficiency.
• Monitor patient flow and ensure that patient wait times are minimized.
• Manage and maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Staff Management:
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and professional development.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that the clinic complies with all relevant regulations, including state licensing, insurance, and Medicare guidelines.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
Marketing and Business Development:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the clinic and increase patient referrals.
• Identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to expand the clinic's services.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and current state licensure.
- Several years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy.
- Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with patients and the community.
