Elementary School Social Worker
Location: Prophetstown , IL
Position Details:
- Level: Elementary
- Start Date: [ASAP or specific date if provided]
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- PEL (Professional Educator License) endorsement preferred. The district is open to working with candidates interested in pursuing their PEL endorsement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students social and emotional needs
- Develop and implement programs to foster students' social, emotional, and behavioral growth
- Serve as a resource for students and families, connecting them with community services as needed
- Conduct assessments and create action plans to support student well-being
