POSITION DETAILS
This remote, part time position functions as an ambassador of the practice by serving as a liaison to clients, internal and external referring physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and others. You will provide superior customer service through the handling of a high volume of telephone calls and emails. A good understanding of the unique characteristics and operations of a private practice are required in order to proficiently support the practice. Principal functions include appropriately responding to client inquiries via telephone and email and accommodating referral requests. Additional duties include but are not limited to routing client concerns appropriately, calendar and schedule maintenance of all psychologists and handling billing and maintenance on our electronic database.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide stellar Customer Service - be candid, but gracious.
Support office staff and executives with general operational tasks.
Manage communication of information in and out of the office.
Plan and schedule meetings, presentations, and other office related events.
Answer phones and emails in a professional manner.
Support the onsite management team on all HR functions.
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Minimum two years of secretarial, back office/front office experience in a physician's/psychologist/psychiatrist office/ or customer service role required.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Completion of a medical terminology course preferred (psychology terminology).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer experience with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Highly motivated, able to work independently.
Able to prioritize work load.
