The CMO will serve as a strategic business partner to senior management while overseeing marketing operations and executing marketing strategy and vision. The CMO will drive brand identity and awareness, corporate and product positioning and messaging, product marketing, field marketing, and lead generation. This position will report directly to the CEO. This CMO will be an active partner with Sales leadership focusing on creating dynamic and operationally measurable activities to exceed revenue goals. The goal is to ensure the company's marketing efforts are successful in helping it achieve revenue objectives. Job Description
Lead, inspire and manage a high-performance marketing team as a hands-on marketing leader. Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the company's new go-to-market brand, including building awareness in the market to lead generation. Understand the business value that the company provides and develop clear differentiated messaging around that for each core vertical. Create and implement an active digital marketing plan to position the firm and generate qualified marketing leads from targeted prospects to ensure the successful attainment of the company's revenue growth plans. Demonstrate a solid analytic focus to determine which marketing investments drive the best business returns in customer revenue. Support alternative and active plans for marketing to new prospects as well as helping the company effectively mine dormant revenue potential from its current customer base. Leverage data and analytics to drive insight and modify business intelligence strategy as necessary. Develop and articulate key operational insights that the company delivers to customers and prospects. Align the organization internally around the brand, marketing, and revenue objectives. Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, influencer programs, PR, and other marketing efforts across multiple channels. Manage and evolve a lead generation process with quantifiable objectives to measure results. Focus on developing demand generation function and building a pipeline to drive revenue. Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation and promotions to aid revenue retention and growth. Establish a best-in-class brand to target customers quickly and efficiently and drive revenue generation. Evaluate and enhance search engine optimization to own key search terms and drive customers to the site. Lead the creation of inspiring design, content, and campaigns that build the brand and drive revenue. Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience across all aspects of the marketing function, industry exposure to consumer goods is desired, but not required. Bachelor's in business administration, marketing, communications, or relevant field. Significant experience creating, defining and operationalizing go-to-market strategies. Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital and non-digital channels. Experience with marketing technology to actively track inputs and marketing outflows to generate measurable business benefits when partnered with sales. A commitment to a culture that fosters entrepreneurship, innovation, accountability, and candidness.
