Business Data Analyst
to join its Enterprise Applications team. The Business Data Analyst will support the School of Dentistry in its mission to educate outstanding dental professionals and provide excellent care to dental patients by providing excellent management of business data. In this fast-paced environment, the Business Data Analyst will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to: Perform data analyses and assist in interpretation of results using a variety of techniques to support business practices. Work with management to obtain and identify analytical requirements. Provide recommendations and conclusions gained from analyzing data using statistical methods and tools. Research best practices, develop benchmarks, and provide dashboard metrics to management leadership. Develop a variety of reporting tools for distribution. Ensure data accuracy. Provide input into decisions affecting business operations and strategic initiatives. May lead staff or student workers, as assigned. The Enterprise Applications team is seeking a self-starter, who is able to work autonomously and drive results in their area. The successful candidate should have two years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence Analysis, Report Developing, and/or similar job functions. Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL as well as Tableau, MS Power BI or similar data visualization platforms is strongly preferred. Experience in creating and maintaining Crystal Reports is a plus.
