The Head of Procurement is responsible for setting the overall strategic vision and direction for the Procurement function. This leader will oversee Category Management and Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship and Risk Management, and Policy. Further, this role will oversee all procurement operations relating to Contract and Supplier Management and Management Reports/Dashboards. As the head of procurement, collaborates with key members of the company's executive community, including Bloomberg Procurement leadership, and works with all components of the organization to influence and impact the overall buying strategy and operations direction of the business. Primary Responsibilities: Set the overall strategic vision and direction for Source-to-Pay functions, incorporating applicable Industry Best Practices relating to Systems, Policies, and Processes. Champion and lead Procurement team efforts to analyze problems, develop solutions, identify opportunities, make recommendations, and implement decisions within the Source-to-Pay domain. Identify, quantify, and develop efficient and effective procurement policies and processes from ideation through successful deployment. Align with and effectively support internal business stakeholders/customers to fully address their procurement needs. Assume overall responsibility for strategic supplier relationships and risk management. Provide thought leadership and strategic vision for all procurement reports. Implement and maintain efficient tools/technology in support of procurement operations. Develop KPIs and performance measurements including savings targets that are aligned with the company's strategic directions and goals. Align Bloomberg Industry Group Procurement strategy with BLP global strategies. Leverage BLP and local relationships and contracts to maximize cost-effectiveness. Partner with key existing suppliers to identify opportunities for providing business value. Manage supplier relationships to build mutually beneficial partnerships. Manage large-scale supplier engagement initiatives, negotiate contracts with suppliers for optimum total cost of product/service. Identify cost savings opportunities and partner with procurement operations to identify areas of process efficiency. Lead transformation and change management activities involving Procurement. Facilitate the development and implementation of, and ensure compliance to Procurement policies, procedures, controls, and best practices. Facilitate training and communications of Procurement policies and practices internally and to the broader business stakeholders/customers. Assume the "expert" role in understanding and communicating Procurement technology strategies to leadership and business stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement of procurement technologies and manage ongoing data and business requirements. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Experience in working with systems and controls in sourcing, contract management, and procurement operations. Strong financial and contract management skills. Strong communications skills to effectively represent Procurement. Experience with managing process transformation and promoting ongoing improvements. Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and adapt to a changing environment. Education and Experience

: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics. CPA, MBA, or advanced degree in Supply Chain Mgmt. or Operations is highly preferred. Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5-7 years of experience in management/leadership position in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
