RAPP Chicago is looking for a Director, Experience Strategy to join our award-winning Experience Strategy team.

Part of Omnicom’s Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets. YOUR ROLE: If you are passionate about technology and planning and want to build strategies for some of the largest global companies, then keep reading. We are looking for a Director, Experience Strategy to lead strategic planning for the U.S. Army. Your role is to architect communication plans across strategic campaigns collaborating with the creative team to bring these to life, as well as collaborate with our Analytics group to establish the KPIs that matter most, define the learning agenda, and optimization plan. Your strategies are built on meaningful insights from your thorough analysis of the situation across cultural, category, and consumer trends. You architect customer journeys that help us understand what moments in the journey we must win, what information customers are looking for, what channels they use, and who influences their decisions. You have a data-informed, holistic view of the client’s business, CX, brand, and data & tech capabilities. As a thought leader, you are responsible for the continuous advancement and modernization of the principles that drive best practices in our evolving landscape. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the development of strategic deliverables for clients Oversee the creative briefing process unearthing insights that will lead to great work that performs Partner with business leads to drive long-term vision and short-term strategic delivery for the account Build the content and social media strategy that supports the customer journey map Collaborate with technologists to ideate innovative new solutions across the lead ecosystem Work with Analytics to define the marketing KPIs, learning agenda, and optimization plan that will increase the effectiveness of each new generation of work Collaborate with your fellow planners Work closely with the creative team to support the development of creative deliverables Partner with the account service/client strategy to define client development plans Evaluate the latest sources of insights and market data as well as syndicated research to ensure that the agency always has access to best-in-class intelligence Engage with our clients to bring our thinking to life from idea development through delivery Engage in public speaking forums regarding cutting-edge planning initiatives REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree required 8-10 years’ experience in demand generation, customer and digital marketing Have an understanding of new techniques such as programmatic media and marketing automation platforms and how they work together to create adaptable, always-on, measurable experiences Experience working on large, integrated accounts is a plus Curious above all We are looking for a natural leader with a strong point of view on how customer marketing must evolve in the digital age. This range is specific to Chicago, and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications, etc. This is an exempt position.
