Sales Manager

with a test and measurement technology company located in

Seal Beach, CA. $140k – $175k annually + bonus opportunity Summary

The

Sales Manager

is responsible for both direct sales and working with third-party reseller partners to promote company products and services globally. This is a dynamic position requiring a combination of sales skills, excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and effective people skills. Responsibilities and Duties

Include but are not limited to: Finds, develops, and closes new sales opportunities. Collaborates with the Sales Director to create and execute a sales plan focused on increasing company sales, including short- and long-term strategies. Enables Sales Partners through training, joint sales calls, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other activities. Creates sales quotations and detailed proposals. Develops and maintains a sales forecast and reporting. Assists with defining potential custom accessories or products needed to complete complex customer application solutions. Conducts on-site and virtual product demonstrations. Maintains and updates Salesforce CRM database, including preparing a sales forecast. Uses social media tools, primarily LinkedIn, to promote company solutions. Assists in identifying new products to meet customer needs. Interfaces with customer service and technical support departments to assure that customer expectations are met. Attends trade shows and regional seminars. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as requested by company management. Experience and Skills:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or similar discipline and previous sales experience (approx. 5+ years) in the Test and Measurement or related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. In-depth knowledge of data acquisition hardware, sensors, and associated software is necessary. Strong understanding of the technical sales process, with proven interpersonal skills, and passion to pursue a career path in sales. Formal sales training is a plus (e.g., Sandler, Miller-Heiman). Experience with dynamic test and measurement applications with the ability to understand customer requirements and propose solutions is necessary. Ability to effectively prepare and deliver product demonstrations and PowerPoint presentations is necessary. Previous experience using LinkedIn and/or Sales Navigator to prospect for new business is strongly preferred. Benefits
