Could you be the full-time onsite Chief Mechanical Officer in Baltimore, MD, US we're looking for?

Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive mechanical and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and skilled teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation by coordinating and supervising the maintenance of MARC rolling stock equipment. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (including engineering, operations, and quality assurance), manage and monitor all maintenance programs and activities, and much more. We'll look to you for: Coordinating and supervising all rolling stock maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, cleaning, fueling and sanding, water supplies and waste removal,

Overseeing repairs and replacement of consumables, light overhauls, improvements, and retrofits,

Scheduling all maintenance and inspection activities and ensuring compliance with all applicable FRA regulations, APTA Standards and Recommended Practice for Rail Passenger Equipment, and OEM requirements,

Managing the maintenance staff across all facilities, including MOW staff,

Supervising the utilization of the Rolling Stock Maintenance Management Information System (Maximo), and required MOW activities,

Managing, monitoring, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of car and locomotive maintenance programs, processes, resources, and activities relating to extra work projects,

Managing, measuring, and analyzing all equipment reliability key performance indicators, identifying failure trends, developing reliability improvement strategies and completing reliability studies for the Customer,

Serving as the project manager for all extra work projects, modifications, and new car warranty modifications

A minimum of 10 years of experience or understanding of fleet management and maintenance supervision,

Knowledge of FRA regulations, APTA Standards and Recommended Practice for Rail Passenger Equipment, and OEM requirements,

Experience in supervising maintenance staff and coordinating extra work projects
