ABOUT THIS POSITION
As the
Director, Product Management , you will lead a team of product managers to develop a cohesive product strategy and roadmap across our multi-brand portfolio. Reporting to the VP, Product Management and Operations, you will evaluate technology choices, project plans, customer experience, and experimentation strategies to enhance our overall direction and drive revenue improvements while reducing friction throughout the customer journey. Your priority will be identifying and cultivating new products and services that align with the needs of our students within our current verticals and product lines.
Your team will conduct research and discovery, identify new opportunities, and ensure solutions are effectively developed, evolved, and maintained to achieve our goals for revenue, student satisfaction, and lifetime value. Passionate about understanding student needs and delivering solutions that drive impactful outcomes, our ideal candidate fosters a team of driven individuals who are creative, gritty, and take ownership — who push boundaries, inspire action, and create delight for one another and our students.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Create and implement a clear, student-centric product strategy and roadmap that drives business growth across our driving, real estate, insurance, and other emerging educational verticals. Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of product managers to ensure successful roadmap development and execution. Foster a culture of empowerment where team members define key results and solve well-framed problems independently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience, to drive product initiatives from concept through launch, ensuring they meet student needs and achieve business objectives. Create and update roadmaps while also driving focused quarterly planning via a groomed backlog of initiatives. Measure and analyze key product metrics to assess performance, inform decision-making, and guide strategic planning for ongoing product enhancements. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation. Manage the agile development processes to ensure appropriate prioritization and timely delivery of roadmap items and day-to-day requirements from stakeholders. Work with our performance Marketing teams, including Paid/SEO/Nurture and other areas, to define go-to-market strategy and launch plans. Align product strategy with revenue growth goals and customer lifetime value (LTV), collaborating closely with Finance and Marketing teams to refine pricing, packaging, and monetization approaches. Drive initiatives that optimize operational efficiency through the integration of AI-driven tools and methodologies, enhancing decision-making, process efficiency, and the team’s ability to deliver impactful solutions.
