Director, Business Development
Tokio Marine HCC, a global power in the specialty insurance industry, is seeking a highly proficient Director of Business Development. This position is responsible for the development of new and existing business for all lines of business within the Cyber & Professional Lines Group.

About the role:
This position is responsible for the development of new and existing business for all lines of business within the Cyber & Professional Lines Group. Primary duties include identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with the VP of Business Development and/or executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance, and maximizing reach and potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage broker/agent relationships, meet key performance indicators, and develop new business by marketing within assigned territory.
Foster additional business opportunities through business travel, virtual meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities and remain current on all company products.
Help build long-term relationships between TMHCC underwriters and broker partners through virtual and in-person meetings and introductions.
Conduct broker and agent training using webinars and other web conferencing tools.
Track, report, and maintain a database of current and prospective contacts, marketing campaigns, opportunities, and outreach activities in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
Work with the marketing team to develop, adapt, and implement specific marketing strategies and materials for new, warm, or cold prospects, creating campaigns based on market research/intel.
Ensure sound working relationships with clients and other company departments by acting as the point of contact.
Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
4-year bachelor's degree preferred.
10 years of relevant and progressive insurance industry business development experience. Wholesale and/or retail existing book of business preferred.
