Job Description

 

  • Unload and receive commodities, raw materials, and bulk product from external and internal customers.
  • Work with Operations to ensure all commodities for the scheduled production runs are transferred to the proper staging area, and later return any commodities to the proper warehouse locations.
  • Partner with Operations to investigate any inventory discrepancies or material concerns.
  • Perform cycle counts monthly by operating a forklift to remove pallets from the rack location and performing a physical count of materials.
  • Load outbound trucks, create and organize shipment paperwork, interact with drivers to ensure trucks are sealed ready for shipment.
  • Able to operate a stand-up forklift.
  • Able to drive company box truck between two buildings, back and dock the truck safely.
  • Comfortable operating with warehouse machinery, including pallet inverter, shrink wrapper, and electric pallet jacks (in addition to fork lifts).
  • Work in a safe manner by complying with all OSHA and Abbvie guidelines related to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety in the work environment.
  • Comply with all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPS).
  • Use proper tools for the job to minimize the introduction of extraneous matter (EM) into the packaging process.
  • Ensure the floor and warehouse offices are maintained in a neat, orderly, audit-ready appearance.
Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or GED

  • Previous knowledge or related work experience in a cGMP or pharmaceutical production environment is preferred.

  • Prior certification of various powered industrial lifts such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and comfort with operating company box truck.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
