Position Description GTMR, Inc. is seeking a SIGINT Systems Administrator (Entry Level) to join our family. In this role you will plan and execute all system administrative activities, coordinate and communicate with Program Management and Lead Engineers. The position will be located at our customer site at NAS Patuxent River MD. In this position, you will work our customer's Compressed Work Schedule which consists of working four 9hour days (M-Th) and an 8-hour day (F) for the first week of a cycle followed by four 9-hour days (M-Th) and being off on the second Friday for the second week of a cycle. This results in a 3-day weekend every other week Position Responsibilities Actively participate in the integration, maintenance and sustainment of cutting-edge technology for the Navy's Special Missions Aircraft programs Ability to install, configure, monitor, manage and maintain both physical and virtual Windows and RHEL-based systems Planning and scheduling the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and applications software in support of Special Missions Platforms' SIGINT systems Verify system upgrades by testing and analyzing software changes against mission requirements Determine failure root cause, initiate corrective action, propose solutions or coordinate with customer and OEM engineers to resolve issues Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services Debug and document HW/SW/SYSTEM problems and communicate corrective actions within JIRA and other problem-tracking software. Reviews system error logs and key processes during pre/post-mission and mission operations ensuring all systems are mission capable. Provides real-time SIGINT assistance/support to flight crews, maintainers, operators and users Developing and documenting systems administration standard operating procedures Managing accounts, network rights, and user access to systems and equipment Managing systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability and making recommendations on system improvements Required Experience 2 Years Systems Administration Experience (RHEL required / RHEL & Windows Preferred) 1 Years COMINT Systems Experience (Operating/Maintaining) 1 Years ELINT Systems Experience (Operating/Maintaining) 1 Years COMINT Systems Experience (Operating/Maintaining) US DoD TS Clearance, SSBI/SBPR/PPR (within 5 years), with the ability to obtain SCI required access and maintain CI Poly Security CE Certification is required within 6 months and must be maintained Preferred Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited institution (Preferred but not required) Work shifts are variable and could include day/evening/night. Possible weekend work may be necessary depending on customer requirements and schedules. Occasional travel will be required
