Maven Nexus is seeking a Key Account Project Manager to manage high-profile customer accounts and oversee retail lighting projects from inception to completion. Lighting experience is REQUIRED. Retail preferred. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity located in Miami, Florida. Local candidates are preferred but will consider applications from candidates residing in New York and/or those willing to relocate to Miami, Florida. Relocation assistance is negotiable. If you’re passionate about lighting design, project management, and building lasting client relationships, we’d love to hear from you What you will be doing: Manage customer lighting projects from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance with all local regulations. Develop lighting layouts, perform photometric calculations, and run simulations using DIALux, AGi32, and AutoCAD. Serve as the main point of contact for key retail accounts, ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, electricians, and architects, to deliver projects on time and within budget. Maintain clear project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and technical specifications. Monitor supply chain and delivery schedules to ensure timely product availability for installations. Provide post-installation support, troubleshooting, and follow-up to maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with the global teams. Travel domestically (10 - 20%) to customer sites and project locations. Participate in a 1 to 2-week training session in Europe. What you should bring to the table: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred). Professional experience in lighting (retail strongly preferred). Proven track record of managing complex projects or customer accounts. Expertise in at least one tool: DIALux, AGi32, AutoCAD, and willingness to learn the other(s) Understanding of electrical systems, photometrics, and lighting standards. Familiarity with energy codes and regulations for lighting in the U.S. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage demanding clients. Ability to handle ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and resolve conflicts effectively. High customer orientation with a focus on delivering value-added solutions. Physical Requirements: Comfortable working on construction sites, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 20 lbs. Good eyesight and ability to distinguish colors accurately. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Electronics or electrical engineering background. OSHA certification. Experience working with premium / luxury retail clients. Multilingual skills for international communication. Work Environment Schedule: Hybrid (1-2 days/week remote).
