Lead Security Splunk Engineer

Role: Lead Security Engineer Location: Remote, Northeast USA Preferred Compensation: 140-180k base bonus depending on experience An exciting and growing cyber security company is looking for a Lead Security Engineer to lead technical engineering efforts for client environments with a focus on Splunk. As a lead, you will be a technical SME for other engineers on the team as well as to customers. Responsibilities: Advise and support efforts within Splunk, security orchestration and Tenable Engineering/architecture tasks for onboarding new service clients as well as enhancing existing client environments Optimize Splunk Enterprise Core & Splunk Enterprise Security Develop Splunk reports, searches, dashboards, alerts Troubleshoot SOAR architecture/playbook configurations as well as develop content and playbooks Perform vulnerability analysis, recommending remediations for clients Contribute to new service offerings Requirements Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience in Infosec field/relevant experience including 3 years directly in Splunk environment Strong understanding of security operations and concepts Linux/windows proficiency Experience with SOAR technologies and vulnerability management tools Scripting experience in powershell, bash, python Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect and/or Consultant If you are interested in joining a growing cybersecurity firm, please apply to Shelley at Huxley EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
