Role: Financial Reporting Analyst
Summary: Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial decision-making processes. The roles involve collaborating with various departments to gather financial data, preparing periodic reports for management, and providing insights into financial performance. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and other relevant financial standards.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: analyze financial data, and identify trends, variances, and insights to assist in strategic decision-making and provide management with actionable financial information.
- Budgeting and forecast support: assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, comparing actual results to forecasts and explaining variances.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting is accurate and complies with relevant internal policies and external regulations.
- Internal Controls: Assist in the development and implementation of controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Audit Support: work with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and analysis for audits.
- Cross functional collaboration: collaborate with other departments such as accounting, tax, and sales operations to gather relevant data and ensure financial reporting accuracy.
- Ad-hoc reporting: provide financial reports and analysis as needed to support various business units and initiatives.
- Other financial and operational analysis and duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Strong financial statement knowledge
- 5-7 of experience in NetSuite or similar accounting packages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related role.
- Strong Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting, accounting, or a related role.
