QA Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive our quality assurance strategy and lead a team of QA engineers. The QA Lead will ensure efficient test planning, execution, and continuous improvement of testing processes. This role demands a blend of manual and automated testing expertise, strong leadership abilities, and collaboration across teams to ensure product quality aligns with business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Lead QA Strategy & Process: Design, implement, and maintain a robust QA strategy, ensuring effective test planning and process improvement. • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, guiding both manual and automated testing efforts. • Manual Testing: Oversee the creation and execution of detailed manual test cases for comprehensive functional and non-functional coverage. • Test Automation: Lead the design and maintenance of automated test frameworks to streamline regression and performance testing. • Collaboration: Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to align testing efforts with project goals. • Defect Tracking & Management: Oversee the identification, logging, and prioritization of defects for prompt resolution. • Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine testing tools, techniques, and processes to enhance quality and efficiency. • Reporting & Metrics: Develop and maintain quality metrics to monitor product quality and team performance, presenting insights to senior management. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 7 years of experience in QA, focusing on mobile or web application testing. • 3 years in a leadership or management role with expertise in both manual and automated testing. Technical Skills: • Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JIRA, TestRail). • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git). Soft Skills: • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proven track record of managing QA teams in Agile environments. • Familiarity with cloud-based environments and mobile testing best practices. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in performance and load testing. • Certification in QA or Agile methodologies (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester). Skills: Mandatory Skills: Selenium, Appium, Python, Java, JavaScript, JIRA, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, QA strategy development. Good-to-Have Skills: Performance testing, ISTQB or Certified Agile Tester certification, cloud-based environments, mobile testing best practices. Education: Bachelors Degree
