We’re hiring an Equipment Technician for our SW Houston client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: Equipment Technician
- Location: Southwest Houston area
- Pay: $16-19/hr.
- Hours: 8:30am-5pm M-F
- Duration: Temp-to-hire
- Description of Duties: The Equipment Technician will be responsible for helping equipment and production engineers repair and maintain wafer production equipment. Will also help the EHS department with the cleanroom environment and new installations. The job will consist of 3 components: new equipment installation, existing equipment maintenance and fabrication and cleanroom support.
- Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience with electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical processes in lab or other production environments. Familiarity with pump, chiller, cooling water filter, and gas bottle change services is a plus. Basic machine shop skills (drill, cut, polish, blast, etc.) desired. Ability to do electrical wiring, soldering and basic plumbing is a plus. Should be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
