Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for minor to major repairs, as well as performing planned maintenance on all electric, gas and propane forklifts, electric/manual pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and all other material handling equipment.
•Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
•Follows up on all internal repair orders (IROs); once repaired, returns item into the system.
•Changes oil, sparkplugs, filters etc. on all equipment.
•Adjusts bearings and replaces brushes.
•Maintains a maintenance log.
•Cleans and maintains equipment in ready-to-operate condition.
•Keeps repair area organized.
•Repairs and maintains non-motorized/ non-electrical equipment.
•Monitors the parts/supply inventory.
•Informs managers/supervisors of parts/supplies needed for repairs.
•Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to customers.
•Performs additional duties as needed.

Other Requiements:
•Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
•Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems.
•Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. consistently; up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
•Must have weekend availability.
•Ready to work at a short times notice.
Require 2+ years of repair tasks of distribution center AND Forklift repair experience (gas and Propane), electric/ manual pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and all other material handling equipment). Also, must have electrical systems knowledge.
The working hours are 8:30am- 5pm, 40 hours per week.
